Deputation Services, CCOs, Garage Sales, and Easter Lily Blessings

Joe and I had a wonderful weekend connecting with some amazing people at the Idaho Falls Church of the Nazarene and at the Caldwell Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene.   It was a great weekend of sharing the story of what God is doing on the Africa South Field and in our lives.   We now have our first deputation services under our belt!!

This weekend was also the last CCO training trip for me.  Joe and I actually met at the CCO when he came before he went to Bulgaria and that CCO was my first CCO to work at.  Then he was able to be with me at my last CCO this weekend.  So that was kind of cool.   The last six years has been pretty amazing to hear some many stories of the ways God is moving in some pretty amazing peoples lives.

This week we are gearing up for our garage sale that is scheduled for this weekend.  We are pricing and selling pretty much everything that is left in the house. Friday and Saturday we hope to find lots of new homes for lots of treasures.   If you are in the KC area come on over!!  Friday the fun starts at 12pm and ends around 5pm or 5:30pm.  Saturday the fun starts at 8am and ends around 2pm.  No reasonable offer will be refused.  J

God has been providing in little and big ways throughout our journey. A small way that He provided for me this weekend, happened Sunday Morning when we found our seats at the front of the church, as I sat down and got comfortable I saw not even three feet away from me were three beautiful Easter Lilies.  Usually if I come within 20 feet of an Easter Lilly I start sneezing repeatedly.  Repeated sneezing makes it pretty hard to speak, so I whispered a quick prayer that God would keep me from sneezing so I could stay in the service.  Praise the Lord I didn’t even sneeze one time.  God provides for the little and big things we need in life.  It was a good reminder for me that if He can keep me sneezing, He will also provide for all of our needs as we continue on the journey towards South Africa.

Thanks for coming on the journey with us.

Until next time...you should always put your license back in your wallet especially when traveling J
